Katalin Ertsey specializes in CSR, business ethics, sustainable development, equal opportunity and communication consultant and research. Katalin has been working on these and related issues over the past decade in various positions. In the early years when CSR was mostly about giving and volunteering, she was the Managing Director of United Way Hungary, the first NGO working closely with the most devoted companies in the corporate sector who lead by example in building a culture of giving, corporate citizenship, caring for the community and volunteering. Later as the issues of CSR and business ethics became more broadly understood in Hungary, she worked as Development Director at the CEU Business School Center for Business and Society. After having her twin girls in 2004, she joined Pannon, the Hungarian subsidiary of Norwegian Telenor as CSR advisor and the head of the corporate foundation. Since 2008, she shares her time between her job as Program Director of Common Purpose Hungary, a unique leadership development program and building up her independent consultant business. Katalin is an intrapreneur. Her skills are best used in creating a new future for an organization from the inside, therefore she is thrilled when clients request help in strategic planning, ask for stewardship and insight, real strategic consultancy work.
